Although the process for subduing and bringing a Slarr under control is dangerous, those who are trained to do so with the utmost care and skill. There has only been one known incident of a Slarr breaking free of its magical reins, it took weeks to wash the blood off the streets of CoffeeTown after that. Thankfully new regulations have been put in place since that make it illegal to take a smoke break while handling a Slarr.
